Who we are
Held & Co. is an independent therapy practice run by Alice Gormer (MSc, MBACP), Integrative Therapist. Practice address: Brockwell Space, 135 Dulwich Road, London SE24. Contact: alice@heldandco.uk.
What information we collect
When you get in touch via phone, email, or the contact details on this site, we collect the information you share — typically your name, contact details, and a brief description of what has brought you to therapy. During the course of therapy, session notes may be kept. No sensitive data is collected through this website itself.
Why we hold your information
Your contact details are held to respond to your enquiry and, if we work together, to maintain the therapeutic relationship. Session notes are kept for clinical and professional reasons, including supervision. The lawful basis for processing is legitimate interests (enquiries) and, where applicable, the performance of a contract (ongoing therapy).
How long we keep it
Enquiry details from people who do not go on to have therapy are deleted within three months. Therapy records are retained for seven years after the end of the therapeutic relationship, in line with BACP professional guidelines. After that period, records are securely destroyed.
Who we share it with
Your information is not sold or passed to third parties for marketing. Alice Gormer works with a clinical supervisor as required by the BACP code of ethics — supervision is confidential and conducted on an anonymised basis where possible. In exceptional circumstances — where there is a serious risk of harm to you or others — a disclosure to an appropriate authority may be necessary. This would be discussed with you first wherever possible.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal information held about you, to ask for corrections, and to request deletion (subject to the retention obligations above). You can also withdraw consent to contact at any time. To exercise any of these rights, please get in touch by email.

This website does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. No personal data is collected through browsing the site.
